Ok this is the light oil lamp on the 2003 Daytona 955i. I found the source of fluid. comes from the bypass hose from the air box to the cover of the alternator. had a lot of "cream" in it and after a

I was not able to pull the final diagrams, but from what little work I did on the bike, do not cap it. If you direct it to the road then you know the results (a messy puddle).

My oil lamp has come up on my 2003 Daytona 955i and the oil has collected moisture after only 400 miles

Could be a hairline crack in your head, or warpage allowing your coolant to mix in with your oil and your oil to seep into your combustion chamber and burn off leaving your oil low. Has your car ran hot recently? A cracked intake or warn gasket on your intake or heads could do the same. Research it

Daytona 955i soft brake leaver

If by "soft" you mean "spongy", that usually means there's air in the system that needs to be bled out.

My 2003 955i Daytona speedometer was working fine,

The speed sensor is located in the front wheel. Follow the cable down to the axle. Please post the solution or problem if your figure this out. I been ride for a year now with the same problem. I've not had the time to check out the problem yet myself.

Don't know if you have stock exhaust and jets.

Go up 1 size on main jet.

Most shops that have a dyno can diagnois this better.

2005 Triumph Daytona 650 squeak?

Question edited for clarity and spelling.Question moved to model category.This is a situation where you need to hear the noise. In a car it can be slipping belts, or water pumps. 1997 Triumph Daytona 955i. When my engine is getting to temperature it stalls and dies. Why is that please?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved to model category. Sounds like fuel starvation or Idle Air Control. I found this Reader query: Triumph Daytona 955i ignition problems I have a 1999 Triumph Daytona 955i. It refuses to tick over when started from cold. After a couple of miles down the road, it seems fine. If I restart it before it gets cold it's OK. If I leave it longer than maybe an hour then the same problem occurs. Willblues, MCN forum. It sounds like it's running extremely lean. There's an initial check you can do yourself on the idle air control. It regulates the air from the airbox into the motor and you can get at it in the airbox. Remove the fuel tank and airbox and you should see a little plastic housing that pokes into the airbox with a little white disc that should rise and fall in response to throttle movement. The only problem with this is the FI management light will stay on after, until it has cycled three times. If that doesn't sort it, you'll need to get a dealer to run a diagnostic check on it to see if it has the correct map and idle fuel trim. https://www.google.com/search?q=1997+Triumph+Daytona+955i.+getting+to+temperature+it+stalls+and+dies ..

Just changed the stator and rectifier...my daytona

Is the battery good. You should have a voltmeter to put across the battery terminals and it should read at least 12.5 volts if it is fully charged and not been on a charger for a few hours. When you have the bike running you should see around 14 volts when revved up a bit, if you see no voltage increase over the 12.5 volts then it means that the alternator is not charging and you will have to investigate that.
