Setting Timberwolf 250 timing
I think your bike has CDI ignition which means the ignition timing is fixed and cannot be changed. Are you having a problem of some sort?
How much gearbox oil
Belive you need 900 cc's (0.9L) of 10W30 oil or equilivant. You could do damage to it if you overfill it, but it would more than likely come out the breather pipes if it has any... Hope this helps.
Rich....
How do i remove the
When the gearbox is removed after splitting the engine cases, the bearing will then pull off the shaft, there is a retainer on the bearing, hope you havent damaged the cases in your attemt to remove the bearing
I need the timing spec for a 1994 yamaha timberwolf 250
no dont worry about that # what type of machine is it? what your gonna need to do is find the mark on the fly wheel some have a single mark and some have two if you have the cover off put it on there should be 2 access holes take the covers (small and larger probally flat head allen key) turn the engine counter clockwise till you line the second mark you see in that little window if it has two there should be a mark to line it up with, that is top dead center now there will be marks on the cam sprocket thatneed to get lined up also thats where i need to know what kind of machine it is but somehave an arrow some have two lines that get lined up with the gasket surface. if you post it i can help you finish
I have a 1991 tzr
Dirty contacts in the ignition switch contact base. You may not be able to disassemble and clean your switch but you can check the wires for continuity. Your handle bar kill switch can also be be a source of intermittent spark.
I need to clean the carb of my Yamaha TZR 50
Your carb is situated under your petrol tank, It is possible to take it off buy taking your tank off (just make sure you turn the petrol tap off first) then unbolting the air intake plastic thing (big black thing under your tank) sorry dont know what its called, then you will have your carb, just make sure you take pics of where the tubes and wires go before taking it off. Hope this helps
Potenciacion tzr 125
TZR 80
RR is the switchboard of the old TZR 125, but limited, there is a wire
in the wiring diagram of the driver's manual states that out of the cdi
but not going anywhere. It is a black wire with a blue line. You have to cut
and make a joint to take to ground (a screw attaching it to the chassis
or negative terminal of the battery) (not which option is best, but most
d of the lead wing 80 TZR drums) but more than CV earn what you
get is to vary the power curve, getting more RPM. I listen from someone owners it installed and did not notice much. Try it and you'd
tell me if you notice something.
The "center control"
(switchboard) is not exclusive of jet injection, if that's what you mean. For example, the GP 500 previously had carburetors
and all your "center
control"
(switchboard), the Honda RS 125 GP also, Honda NSR 250 (at least
until 2003) also took her, and all are of carburetion. This allows play
around with different "center
control"
(switchboard) in a single bike and so vary the power curve.
Be
carburetion or not.
Hope help.
Hello i hava a yamaha tzr 50 04 plate and the
i had the same problem. On the left side of your wheel (from looking at it from the front) there is a small speed dector and this is most likely where the problem is. 1.try taking the cable in and out of the speed dectector. 2.if this still doesnt work then take the whole wheel off and look at the inside of the speed detector it maybe full of "black gunk" you will want to clean this out and then just dabble a little bit of 10 w 30se oil into it, just to help lube it up a bit (other oil based lube could be used) 3.if neither of these get it working you will probally need a new one
Were tryin to take apart the rear end of our 1990
Looking at a parts diagram may reveal why it is not wanting to come apart. My guess is gasket sealer not wanting to release.
Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific ATV. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. HOW DO YOU REMOVE, CLEAN AND REPLACE JETS ON A tzr
Just remove the carb, turn upside down, undo the 4 screws holding the float bowl on,and the jet on the top is your main jet and can be removed /replaced using a 6mm spanner. The pilot jet is lower down ,closer to the front of the carb and can be removed with a screwdriver.
There is also the needle jet which is held in by the main jet and can be removed by simply tapping it down once you have removed the main jet.
But for basic tuning you need only change one jet(main jet).
Please leave positive feedback if this has helped you
thankyou
Year? Parts?
The frame number (VIN #) is what will tell you the information needed. Call a dealer with the VIN number ant they can tell you exactly what you have got. Chances are the dealer can tell you. The Timberwolf came in 2x4 and 4x4 models. You can look up the part numbers for both and see if the casings have the same part numbers. If so, you should be able to do a swap out. Check out the part numbers on the frames.
