I rolled my jetski want to drain oil on engine

You must do this till all ok without stopping a day or two and do it straight away or you run the chance of scrapping the motor as ive done this for 30 yrs ! fingers crossed ok ...

1100v star runs bad unless choke is half out

Sounds like you have a plugged fuel filter or fuel line. Also check fuel line for any cracks or signs of wear. Have you checked plug wires it could be a bad plug wire.

Last time I STARTED MY VSTAR 1100 I CHOKED IT FOR

Sounds like your flooding it out with the choke out. Try the next time you go to start the bike when it's cold with the choke out and when it starts push the choke all the way in and keep it running with the throtle. If it runs better after doing this then your flooding it on start up. Use 1/2 choke to start cold and see what it does. Good Luck

I have no spark in back cylinder and i have spark

Could be the coil, check the spark plug cap and wire first. Most plug caps are screwed on the wire, unscrew it and test continuity with an ohmmeter. If that checks out check the wire to make sure it has no damage to the insulation. If it will unscrew from the coil,(some are molded in and can't be removed) run a continuity test on it as well. If that checks out, you'll need to get the factory resistance spec's for the coil to test it. Good luck!

Backfiring

If it uses points for ignition, check by substitution the capacitor across the points and indeed if using electronic ignition.
If the exhaust from both cylinders runs into a single silencer and one cylinder is misfiring, unburnt fuel mixture will explode in the silencer, sounding like a backfire.

How do you take the

On the very front bottom of the motor is where the starter is located. It takes two 10 ( I believe, it may be 12mm bolts) out of the back side of the starter. Then wiggle the starter out of the engine case. It has some good size rubber o-rings on it so it takes a little effort to get it out. Try not to pry on the starter with anything because the edge of the case it seats in is very thin and could break easily.

Starting is no problem, when shifted into gear,

Hi and welcome to the site,

Initially and in most instances, this would indicate that a safety feature is engaging hence the engine shutting off.

Offhand check, clean or bypass the sidestand switch. Additionally, check the connections to the relay assembly or the assembly itself.

Good luck and thank you for asking.

My bike doesnt have enough power to start or hold charge?

You either have a dicky battery (most probably) or your alternator is on its way out. Take it to an auto-electrician, generally it takes him two seconds to diagnose it and normally this is a freebie. You also could do with a good up to date manual.

2000 classic no power to starter , wiring diagram

Below is a diagram of the electric starting system of your Yamaha. I have a couple of tips to help pinpoint the problem. First, check to see if there is battery voltage to the starting relay. If there is, use a large screwdriver to bridge across the two large cables attached to the top of the relay. If this causes the starter to spin, then you've got a bad relay. If there's voltage to the relay, yet the starter does not spin when you bridge the two contacts, then you've got either a bad starter motor, or a faulty electrical connection between the relay and the starting motor.
If the starting relay does not make a clicking sound when you push the starting button, then you've got either a defective starter button, or wiring goin to the relay. I hope this is helpful.

Starter works engine will not turn over

Sounds like the starter clutch is slipping, It will require dis-assembly for inspection. If you have been using synthetic oil and going longer between oil changes, that has been proven to cause such problems in other bike's starter clutches.

Were there any recalls on gas cap on the 2001 V

No, there are not. I reviewed Yamaha's complete list of Service Bulletins, which includes recalls, and there is not any bulletin addressing the issue your bike has. I have heard of it before, where the screws fall out and the lock mechanism falls off, but I have not seen a bulletin on that subject.
The good news would be, at least they fell into the tank where you can get them out and reassemble your cap. It would be a good idea to mentally note the screws that hold the mechanism together from now on anytime you gas the bike up.

My bike is running rough and hesitating.

I think you will either have to dismantle the carb and clean the floats and jets. Or you need new filter that is inside the gas tank.
