It needs 800ml( a quart ) of lubricant, don't forget to clean or replace the oil filer.

If its a 2 stroke, yes normal. If it's hugely excessive, drain the fuel and mix the proper ratio of fuel to 2 cycle oil and refill tank with the proper mix.

How do i know if

Put the bike in a high gear, take out your plug, put the bike on a stand then try to roll the rear wheel. If the wheel rolls, and you can feel air chugging out of the spark plug hole, the piston is moving up and down, and it is not locked up.

2007 yamaha ttr 125 wont go into gear. starts

gear selector may be jammed inside the casing or broken
check that the shifter is tight on the shaft!
check clutch adjustment
try rocking bike back n forth without using clutch while you try ******* the gear lever it may come unstuck
but get it looked at if it frees up!
