Look more closely. The first two, from left to right, are joined with a horizontal bar, forming the previously mentioned "H". The third vertical line is the "I", and the TDC mark.
Make sure everything is connected and there is a good fuse in place. To test the coil you'll want a Ohms meter and a Volt meter as well as the service manual! Make sure the readings on the meters match the ones in the service manual. Cheers!
Put the bike in 4th or 5th gear, and place a board across the swing arm, through the spokes, so it lays across both sides of the arm as near the rim as possible. Then crank the sprocket off. It's a right hand thread, so turn it counter-clockwise to loosen.
If you are going to dismantle a gearbox, Buy a manual. It is not something that can be accomplished without pictures (rebuild is even more critical.) They only cost about 20GBP and a professional gearbox rebuild will cost in the region of 400GBP- no contest is there.
Depends on the type of carb, but you must remove needle and there is a sir-clip with slots on the top of the needle. it can be poped off and moved up and down on needle. may have 5 different spots on it. Factory setting will be the center slot. This will enrich the mix or lean it out.
Needle adjustment
You might want to check the rubber intake & exhaust manifolds for cracks. with the engine running, spray some carb cleaner around both rubber manifolds (Sparingly, short blasts, don\'t soak out of it) and listen for a change in the engines RPMs. if it goes up, or down, that could be your problem bro.......
Sounds Like Spark Knock. Go To 93 Octane Gas And Select The Right Gear For Conditions. Do Not Lug The Engine. Lugging Will Damage This Engine Quicker Than Over Revving Will.
