Sounds like you're wiring up a power amp in a car, and nothing to do with Yamaha Motorcycles. If this is the case, red to positive on battery, black to ground, and switch from positive to remote.
Normally you would tie remote to something that comes on when the engine or radio does, but if you want an on/off manual control, that's the way to do it IF it's a power amp you're wiring up.
No spark on rear cylinder
a bad repair job might cause no spark that and moisture
double check the connections and cover with tape
My gas tank collapses in
Most likely your fuel tank vent is plugged....so as you consume fuel a vacuum is developing in the tank....the lower the tank level gets the worse the vacuum.
If you tried opening the gas cap you likely would hear a whoosh of air rush into to the tank.
If you inspect the filler neck you should see a hole on the inside of the neck that is attached to a hose.....ensure the hole is clear and trace the hose checking for any pinches in it....further down you will find a "rollover valve" on the vent hose.....its designed to allow normal venting, but if the bike tips over, its designed to seal off the vent to prevent gasoline spillage, fire etc. Sometimes the rollover valve sticks and needs to be tapped and flushed and blown through to verifiy its clear.....make sure if you remove it you install it the same way....its designed to mount one way
If you continue riding the bike open the cap often as the vacuum can collapse the tank permanently, and tanks aren't cheap!
Adjustment on a 2002 Yamaha
Are you by chance trrying this with the sidestand extended...? The interlocks in the design stop the ignition if the bike is placed in gear with stand down.
Re assembly where spacer goes
That pretty vague! You can go to SHS Powersports website and bring up factory parts diagram for many Yamaha motorcycles.

Ensure battery cables are clean and tight,
Check that the main fuse is intact...should be close to battery.
Hook up a voltmeter to battery and monitor voltage when you turn on the key and press starter button. If voltage dives down, battery is bad. No change in voltage....incomplete circuit....main fuse, ground cable...etc

You need to go to the registration branch and get a statement that says you are the owner with a photocopy of your license and the VIN number of the bike. Then ring the dealer and ask if thats all they need and if they are willing to send a key.
While riding the bike, it
HI, YOU DONT SAY WHAT THE BIKE IS, HOWEVER USING A CAN AND A LENGTH OF RUBBER PIPE, FIT ONE END TO TAP AND THE OTHER IN THE CAN, TURN THE TAP TO ON POSITION AND ALOW THE FUELTO FLOW,CHECK FOR CONSTANT FLOW THIS WILL ELIMINATE THE FUEL FLOW RATE ON THE ON POSITION, AGAIN TRY IN RESERVE POSITION AND CHECK FLOW RATE , POSS REASONS COULD BE SEDIMENT OR CONTAMINATED FILTER IN THE TAP, OTHER WISE DO YOU HAVE A TANK BAG FITTED WHICH MAY BE RESTRICTING THE AIR INTO THE FUEL TANK THROUGH THE INTAKE, CHECK FOR RESTRICTIONS AROUND THE FUEL CAP, OR THE RUBBER PIPE WHICH ALOWES AIR INTO TANK(SOME MODELS). TRY THE ABOVE FLOW RATE WITH THE FUEL CAP CLOSED FIRST THEN WITH IT OPEN AND CHECK FOR A CHANGE, HOWEVER, YOU MAY HAVE A RESIDUE OF MUCK OR WATER INSIDE THE CARB/CARBS UNDO THE DRAIN SCREW ON THE FLOAT CHAMBER, THE LOWEST POINT ON THE CARB AND ALOW ALL THE FUEL INSIDE TO BE REMOVED, THIS OPERATION SHOULD BE CARIED OUT WITH THE FUEL TAP IN THE OFF POSITION, CATCH OLD FUEL, AND DISPOSE OF, PAUL
What is the amp and
all 12 volt systems should have no more then 14.5 volt, and no less then 12.0 votl, unless your cranking the bike then it can dip below to an 8 volt, then it should level back out to a constant 12volt at an idle. while running it should not get above 14.5 volt as this will back feed the system and burn componets up.
I left the key in
you should have no problems when using that charger to charge your battery -- ( 2200mA = 2.2amps), this is a safe charge rate.
