Question edited for full make and model names. Question moved to model category. Could be a bad relay and they are easy enough to rest. The problem with bikes is corrosion. Involved in starting, is the battery, the battery connections, the starter button, the relay, and the starter solenoid and its connections. Break all the connections, clean with a wire brush until shiny, smother them with Vaseline and do them back up. Vaseline stops oxidization and also transmits electricity. There are 4 version of the 2002 Suzuki Intruder Motorcycle. Please always include full 'year make model (size)'. It sounds like you need a new dealer! All the bigger bikes have a diagnostic port. i would be looking at the voltage regulator,if the regulator is faulty the alternator will not be replacing the voltage that the bike needs to keep running

Generally with these types of fuel systems the breather hole in the gas cap gets gummed up and not allowing the fuel to flow freely through the lines. Try leaving the gas cap open and see if it runs fine. It so, clean the cap in solvent.

When cleaning a multi carb bike, it is best to take them all off. Clean and reset float levels on both. Then reinstall, set both idle mixture screws about 1 turn out. Then adjust, and you'll probably have to syncronise them also.
