Bought a 2008 benzhou moped thinking it would be a cheap vehicle with good gas mileage. Drove it for a day and it broke down. Whenever I gave it gas the wheel would not turn and it would make disastrous metal on metal grinding noises. so i took the casing off to have access to the belt. All is in tact except a bearing that is in the gear box behind the rear pulley for the belt drive. i tried to take the rear wheel off to gain more access to the gear box but the bolt will not budge. is the rear wheel reverse threaded? how can i fix this problem? any information would be much appreciated.

Whoever sold it to you gave the bearing a shot of heavy oil then smiled as you drove away. The engine has to come out and the center case has to be split apart to gain access to the bad bearing. This requires some special tools. Your best bet is to trade it in on a Honda scooter. At least you can get parts and service when you need it. I am really sorry you got ripped off. Some people have no honor.

Testimonial: "How unfortunate. The man that sold it to me acted as if he knew nothing about it. Makes me wonder if he played dumb to keep me interested. "

Have 2008 kia rondo misfire on cylinder 2 also throwing code for map sensor...car drives and runs not getting best gas mileage and idles/runs rough where should I start thanks for your time

Misfire is caused by spark plugs, coil packs (if you have them), possibly wiring issues.
Don't you have long, long warranty on that car?

Good Tip on Making Your Vehicle Run Better

This applies for any vehicle. Most of us know that gas prices arent exactly cheap right now and so we accomodate by purchasing cheaper gas, but here's some good info you should keep in mind. Fuel currently is mixed differently than it was back when there was the option for leaded gas. the past years low octane unleaded gas was cheap but well mixed and made, so most vehicles ran well off of it. Nowadays the mixing is different, and gas is more expensive. the low grade gas back then was good on cars and the newer gas not so much. our mid grade gas is the same as low grade from then. if you want to make your car run better, avoid going to arco, safeway, or any real cheap gas station. they water down their gas to make it cheaper, and its lower grade than most others, so instead of penny pinching, give your vehicle a break and instead of settling for low grade, pick the mid grade gas from stations like Shell or Chevron. i guarantee you will notice a performance difference and sometimes a gas mileage difference, especially in older vehicles that were built to run on the low to high grade unleaded of their times. its definitely worth the extra 10 cents.

When i first got the car (used) the screen showed 27.5 mpg..... it keeps decreasing everytime i step into the car, even after ive filled the tank. when i press info it shows two arrows. can i increase or...

no, the arrows simply mean that you can scroll through additional menus. the MPG is simply a calculation done by the computer monitoring fuel consumption compared to miles driven. if the numbers are going down since you acquired the car, there a several possibilities. your driving style - if you are a little heavier on the gas, brake a little harder, the numbers go down. if the previous owner drove primarily on the highway, and you are more towards the city driving pattern, the number will go down. depending on the mileage on the vehicle, it could also be do for some maintenance work, ie spark plugs, air filter, intake / injection cleaning. good luck!

Dear Sir, My hyundai Getz miledge is 49700 and driven for 3 years. The engine oil was changed regularly. The check engine sensor came up one day. The workshop says that the crankshaft has broke off at the...

I'm not quite sure what the shop means by the crankshaft broke off at the 'joint between the crankshaft and the blade'. A broken crankshaft is certainly rare, and with the mileage you gave, regular oil changes, and normal driving, this should not have happened. I am surprised you were able to drive the car with a 'broken' crankshaft. I think it would be wise to seek a second opinion, especially since they wouldn't let you in the back to see the car. It is true that for insurance reasons, customers are not allowed in the work area, but it seems a reasonable request when a car that has been well maintained has such a serious problem at such low mileage. I would also be interested to know what they meant by the 'blade' where the break occurred.
