My 1996 honda cbr 900rr keeps shutting off then you put it in gear ..,it also has a yellow light on in the dash with an S on it .....i need help

You need to rebuild the traasnsmission.

hi,the transmission oil and engine oil are the same thing,one oil does both,hence why bikes use a multi grade oil,normally..most hondas you will find engine oil/trans oil filler on the top of the r/h engine side cover...hope this helps...cheers

if it is the the alternate of the cbr 900rr 1995 bike then replace it but i think , you'd better look for the alternate exhaust if it is cbr 900rrt even though but size matters.
