Looking for wiring diagrams for digital tachometer with trim indicators and warning signals. Mine had the plastic trip arm break. No trim reading on Tach face. Replaced trip arm forsensor arm and now have no reading on the tach at all except extremely light tach Number. All other electrical components work OK.

The tach and speedo are their own separate unit. There is no changeable light bulb. You may want to check your light and instrument fuses. If those are working, I would remove the outer fairing and check the connections to your tach and speedo.

it is a very simple unit, only two things, make sure the wire connections are clean and free of corrosion, or the unit is shot. pop it out and check the connections, just follow the wires

Locate & route Black lead to ground / 2004-later softail: On the frame strap under the seat directly in front of the battery.
Locate & route the pink lead to Signal / For 2004 & later FXST/C/I The #3 cavity in the connector {39b} on the back of the speedometer. The socket terminal on the signal (pk) lead fits the #3 cavity.
Locate & route the Orange and white lead to power / Ummm.. it's saying for 2004 and later to adapt to the fuse block For earlier [ For 1996 to 2003 softail: locate the power lead (o/w) in the tail lamp pin connector {7a} under the seat behind the right rear corner of he battery.] "here you are looking to run it to a fused line, not directly to power/battery" I hope this helped.

i had to take the whole cluster out and pullout hard on the rubber booth, the the bulb pulls out...its flat plug insertion kind.
