What year model is each one?

  • Anonymous Feb 05, 2012

    85 model

    was for a xr cheers

  • Anonymous Feb 05, 2012

Never the less there was a XT250 edition with double header pipes (XT250LC 1984) that may do the job but you must check the exhaust ports first because the header pipes may not be the same inner diameter and the engine will not run correctly.

  • Anonymous Feb 05, 2012

    thanks mate

  • Anonymous Feb 05, 2012

I am really sorry (quite tired).
The XRs would fit but you still have to examine the exhaust's inner diameter to be the same. Apart from that they fit.

  • Anonymous Feb 05, 2012

are they the same size pipe

  • Anonymous Feb 05, 2012

    ok cool thanks

The 1985 XT250 has one exhaust port so its header is a single pipe.On the other hand the 1985 XT350 has two exhaust ports and double header pipe.I don't think you can fit either one.

My bad. Sorry about that. I posted my answer as a clarification request instead of as a solution.
As mentioned previously, Google for a salvage wheel.

Now the ratings page will come up. Drive safe. Tombones49

I cant quite figure out which spacers you are refering to. The only thing I can think to suggest is the exhaust schematic on bikebandit.com. If I knew for sure I could try to look at my bike but there's no telling what previous owners could have done. Sorry. I'd really like to help.

Carby

Remove carb. Remove fuel bowl to access jets. Low speed jet is separate off to one side. Main jet is in center and threads into emulsion tube which has metering needle down its center. Unscrew main jet from emulsion tube and replace with bigger or smaller (depending on your desires).

Wheres the battery???

Hi ..... Do you have an ignition switch ? I'm sure all the early XR's didn't have a battery or ignition switch .............. just kick and go. Fitted with an ignition pack, you kick and it generates sparks. In the UK if you used one on the road insurance wouldn't cover you for Theft as they were too easy to steal.
Let me know how you get on.
