Can you hear the fuel pump? If not then it will need to be replaced also check the fuel filter they will clog up some times. The other thing is check the fuses for the injection system. and you can also unplug the injectors and test for power at the injectioner.

SOURCE: my yamaha 1998 royal star

If the bike sat through winter...carbs may be gummed up on idle circuit....could try a product like Seafoam ...add to tank.....run for awhile to get the treated gas in carbs....then let it sit a day and retry.
You're certain its actually firing on all 4 plug wires?

Turns over and over can hear fuel pump come on will start with starting fluid and runs great but when shut off for a little while wont start again only with starting fluid

If the starting fluid works then you have a fuel pump or a fuel pump relay issue. The fuel pump relay allows the pump to come on for about 2 secs and prime the fuel system. Once the engine starts then the power to the fuel pump runs through the oil pressure circuit.
If the car starts on starting fluid and then continues to run... I would lean toward a fuel pump relay issue. Hope this helps, Good Luck!

Has spark but wont start even when i use starting fluid

I'm not sure of the vehicle type or model due to your question, but the fact you mentioned spark I can only assume its a gas powered engine. I would highly recommend you not use any type of STARTING FLUID to aid in starting. Starting fluid should only be used for diesels, and I mean large industrial size motors when cold only. Any type of starting fluid used on a gas engines or domestic sized trucks can severely damage the engine especially when it won't help at all with the issue it won't start. Need more info of vehicle to help.

My 96 1300 royal star runs good at idel and half therodel but dies down at full throdle

I thought i had a problem with my carbs. it started cuttingout when i romped on the throutle, but when i took it to a cycle specialist, they said the royal star had a Rev Limiter in it. it intentialy starts cutting out and back firing when I try to rev it too high. I\´m looking at getting the DYNA 3000 to customize the limiter. $270 bucks
Yamaha installed the limiter to lengthen the life of the bike, so this may be a long term bad idea.
I\´ll see.

I have a 1988 toyota van le cargo 2.2 engine

Try spraying starting fluid into the intake of the air cleaner while someone else starts the car. Continue spraying the starting fluid for about 15-20 seconds. If the car starts, more than likely your fuel pump is bad. Check your fuses, and make sure you are getting power to the fuel pump. [email protected]
