I just bought a 2001 dirt truck for 500$. Pretty good deal I think. It's super clean and came with a bunch of extras. Factory black plastics. Problem is it doesn't run all the time. I don't know much about these bikes but what I am learning here and through atkusa. At first it would run great
Then just fall on it's face like the ECU lost power. Then it would fire right back up again. I checked the ECU power relay and it was ok. I checked the grounds. OK. I checked the O2 sensor wires. They were ok at the factory sealed ends. I found the fuel pressure regulator hose cut and capped off. I replaced it. Now it runs without dying like before but it has new trouble. It won't run at full throttle for long. Like it is losing fuel pressure. I checked the return line and it is gushing. Plenty of pressure it seems. Lines are ok and O-rings in quick connects are ok. Filter and pick up are clean. It seems that as soon as I hooked it up to the ECU it did this. Bad fuel pressure regulator perhaps? I know one of you Dale guru's must have some suggestions. I am a mechanic by trade and I need some assistance here. Just a suggestion, I have had trouble with intermittent shut offs before, and I found the wire lugs on the fuel pump loose, arching, and draining my battery.... Make sure there are star washers under all electrical lugs…,I just need space for a huge pod filter. I may look into side mounted radiators behind the fairings, a-la Honda VTR1000....,,

I had the same problem and all I did was to make sure to clean up anything on the outside of the rubber boot then took some black silicone rubber and spread it all around the tear. It worked great.
Or the blower motor works but there is not very good air flow out the vents? If so it was pretty common on the older GM's for the evap core to leak and cause a bunch of debris/dust/dirt to stick to it causing airflow to slowly be limited as it became covered in dirt. Sometimes you can remove the blower motor and clean the evap core to regain some air flow.
it sounds like your problem is bad speakers. I dont think you are under powered. You probley need to take these speaker back if possible. sometimes you will get a faulty speaker, where the wire is glued to cone, the wires are probley not making a good connection. from factory they do screw up. I have had the same problem, it is not noticable by the eye but it does happen. good luck .
You can try Ebay, but I don't lie your chances. It's a pretty rare request, so I think you will have to either approach Ford, or Gregory's ( the people who publish Manuals)
the shop time would be 3 hrs. depending on the shop's labor rate. the right side is pretty difficult, taking 2.3 hrs of that shop time. so if your not a pretty good mechanic, the money might be well spent
I would trash the cold air intake, the filters that it uses lets dirt through, and thats what kills engines. If you want long life, stay away from any type of non stock add ons. there is no way to have more power without shorting engine life.
