If they came with the vehicle (new) then it may be necessary to remove the hood lining to get to the bolts
the service center or an accredited panel shop will have an idea as to how to get them off

Open up your owners manual, most likely still in the glove box, and find the section under heading "luggage rack." This will give you basic removal instructions.

so meny different types ! some you remove the rear grab handle etc ! could do with a picture of what you got and a picture of the bike with the seat off ! :- )

The rear seat is held in place with a single bolt near the rear of the seat. This bolt is normally a socket head type (you use an allen key to remove it), is near the centre of the rear fender and also usually holds the rear rack or grab bar in place. Once the bolt is removed you may need to shift the rear of the seat sideways one way or the other in order that the tab on the seat clears the grab bar or luggage rack. The front end of the rear seat is secured under a tab so after removing the single bolt, simply slide the seat toward the back of the bike and it will come free.

The tubes are from the sun roof if you have one and they dont't need to send it out.

Retainer clips are used as anchors under the roof line and Tinnerman screws are used with these to fasten it down..accordianman
