Braskes Hey I was looking at my front left tire after I got home the other day. I noticed that I lost a lot of peddle when I was coming home. So, I looked around and noticed that there was a leak coming from my front driver tire. I haven''t taken the tire off yet and was wondering, do you think that it may just be my caliper, or something else? I appreciate any input.

tires need to be balanced that will fix vibration. tire wear is a camber problem. get a four wheel alignment

It sounds like the brake pads are metal to metal, when you turn the flexing of the wheel makes them touch the rotor and grind. This can rarely be caused by a badly worn wheel bearing as well, have both brakes and wheel bearing inspected.

lots of possibilities here. have you recently hit anything such as pot holes? try rotating tires from rear to front and see if there is a difference. Beyond that it could be anything from bent wheels to out of balance tires(less likely to be noticed at low speeds), or perhaps bad tires(choppy tread). Next is to check steering and suspension for worn or damaged parts.

left front caliper is stuck would be my guess, if pads are cooked, get a loaded caliper (comes with pads)

Did you notice any leaks from the power steering? If you did not notice any leaks, the only place for the fluid to go is in the bellow boots(the accordion boots on the rack and pinion system). Go underneath and if no leaks are obvious, take a small screwdriver and poke a small hole in one of the boots. If fluid comes out, you're looking at replacing the rack and pinion. This would also explain the excessive play you're feeling in the steering.

I think your right that its a bad bearing or hub. If your feeling it in the gas pedal and the floor, its most likely the front. If you can find an empty parking lot, try to get up to the speed it starts making the noise, and turn left and right. With the extra load being put on each bearing from turning, that will tell you which side it is.

I just went to Brake Masters this morning and had them replace the Master Cylinder since I was experiencing the pedal very spongy and going to the floor. When they replaced the Master Cylinder and they gave me back the car, the brakes were still spongy and going to the floor. I addressed this to them and they took another look at it, but when I took it for a second time, the brakes were extremely spongy. It was almost like they gave me back my car in worst condition to when I brought it in. Can you help?

Center differential is broken,you can test it by doing tight circles in a car park 3 or 4 to the left and repeat to the right,if it doesn't un block and it still feels like you're driving over marbles (big ones) when you turn you're sure it's the c.diff.
Check tyres are all in spec.identical and same usage, right pressure.

Excessive ware one one side of your tire could be a result of favoring right or left handed turns more then the other. I find my self favoring lefts so I have worn out more tires on the left side as well. But if the rear tire isn't warring the same then it could be some of the following. 1-Improper spacing of the front wheel - not sitting true in between the front tubes 2-Bad tire compound set loose on one side and wore uneven (happens a lot on china made tires) 3-front axle is bent 4-wheel B-rings are gone (will cause tire to track more on one side) 5-front tubes are bent. 6-Bent rim

yes the bearings are pressed in. have to find a press
