SOURCE: 1998 Suzuki rm 125. Changed clutch lever and when

I am sure it's a wet clutch. Pop your bike in neutural. Remove your clutch crank case cover and, using a screwdriver, separate the plates manually. Put the tip of your screwdriver between the edge of the clutch plates and turn the screwdriver. It will break the seal of your plates and spacers. Put it all together again. Do a fluid flush and refill your oil to recommended levels. Get the bike running again and give it a go. Should be fine. Good luck!

SOURCE: clutch plates stuck

1- Is it in neutral?
2- check is the clutch leaver in the clutch housing cover is not stuck.

When in neutral start the engine, let it run until it is a bit warm ( check the gage ). Then the gearbox oil should become a bit warm too. This will make the clutch plates expand a bit and pop loose.

I just started my 2006 suzuki gsxr 600 for the first time since fall and it starts fine in neutral but as soon as i put it in gear it cuts off. The kickstand is up

Sounds like your clutch is stuck on [not disengaging when you pull the leaver]This can happen over a long storage-no use period. To fix put the bike in 3rd gear and start the engine with the clutch lever pressed[caution the bike will want to surge forward so keep your foot on the brake]Make shure to have the engine up to normal running temperature before you try this fix.the engine firing along with the brake pulled will release the sticking clutch plates. This will work!!!

My clutch in my rm 250 wont disengage i know the pressure plate is moving but it still wont disengage?

If you put synthetic oil or an oil with "Special" additives in the gearbox the cork on the fiber friction plates may be swollen. The swelling can cause the clutch to stay engaged, Only use standard 10w40 motor oil in the gearbox. You will need new fiber friction plates if that is what has happened. Normally the only other three things that would cause the problem are a worn shift arm, a bent push rod and a badly worn cable.

That is more than enough movement. Most probably don't move half that much. All they have to do is release the spring pressure from between the plates.
