SOURCE: removing the rear wheel of a Honda VTX 1300s

ok first you got to find the link that takes the chain apart after you do that loosen the bolts that hold the tire on if you cant do that you can use a breaker bar or put a pipe or on the end of you rachet that will give you more leverage. then sloed the tire forword so you can undo the chain and slide tire off

SOURCE: removing baffles in my1300 vtx c honda ?

it is not hard to do but it would be best to get the drag pipes. there are a host of problems to think of though. you will need to rejet the carbs to accomodate the free up in back pressure. you will need the tourque slipins for the pipes. they will fit right into the pipes where they connect at the heads. the 1300 is going to be super loud without the baffels. like getting stopped by the law loud. it would be best to get a tuned drag setup from a dealer as to get the sound you are looking for as well as keep it below jonnie laws radar.

This may seem silly but ;how is the throttle cable adjustment .Had a 2003 come in and the complaint was the same.Adjusted the handlebar cable adjustment and what a difference. Also check the vaccum line onthe right side under the edge of the tank, near the rear. This can cause stumble. NNo you do not have to remove tank to do this..Good Luck

I got this tank noise in my 2006 1300 vtx ,when i am riding its coming from engine vibration ,is there something i can use to stop it

Try removing the tank, and check the rubber mounting points. Sounds like you have metal on metal somewhere. Mabey adding some extra foam or rubber for padding agaist the frame while the tank is removed.

Where is radeater cap

There is no cap on the radiator itself. Coolant is added by way of the coolant tank which is accessed on the left side of the bike. Remove the chrome panel behind the ignition switch to access the tank.
