Starter circuit cut-off relay

The circuit relay on the left side, away from the battery seems to be shot. Anyone know where I can purchase a replacement new or used?

SOURCE: Indian Starter Problem

The mechanic should check the starter solenoid . The solenoid is the one that control the starter to function . If the starter is stuck there for you should check if the starter is worn out or destroyed. If it is worn out or destroyed there for you should replace it a brand new one. In some motor cycles there are some that have a stand alone solenoid .Separated solenoid to the starter but still the solenoid is one with the starter .The solenoid is connected to the starter by means of the wires or wire connection .You can find it easy because it is place very near to the starter . While some is like the car the solenoid is connected or placed on the top of the starter. That's why it is very easy to find.

Jet pump 1 and 2 starts. Try and start jet 3 you hear a click

Relay is shot... the click is the low voltage circuit closing the switch but the power isn't traveling through the high side. Relays are cheap ... if you have an old junk car lift the hood open the fuse box on the drivers side it is loaded with little square relays. . . The idea is the switch isn't supposed to have large amounts of power flying through it so they place a relay which is a magnetic switch away from the use... when you activate it the magnetic current runs through the iron in the switch and it closes the circuit.

How does one replace the battery used to power timex rush T44361

Hi Debra, yours might be similar to my IronMan watch...... 4 small Philips head screws to remove then back comes away to reveal a sticker that has 2 clips either side, use a safety pin point to release the clips and the battery comes off with the sticker! The battery is placed with the total flat side upwards! Hope this helps!

Pass side fuse box dead after arching the battery, no power

Chances are its one of the fuseable links at the starter. The car gets some of its power thru those wires. They look like regular wires except they have an internal fuse. You may need a wiring diagram to figure out which circuit is affected.

Pass side fuse box has no power after arching the battery. Need help!

Good you have tried it! I pressume all fuses and relays are fine. Check if there are broken wires from the main source of the distritbution fuse boxes. Now, try to supply the said relay (from the left) using jumper wires from the distribution fuse box voltage source. Goodluck.

2002 gmc sierra 1500 HD battery keeps draining

Hello, You need to disconnect the Battery and use an Ohmmeter to find the drain. Just hook the Ohmmeter to the disconnected Battery cables and see what reading you get.

There are several ways of doing this test. But with the Ohmmeter all set to work, turn your Ignition key a couple of times and see if it is shutting off or not. That switch is the most used switch on the truck. May be a cheap shot at fixing the problem for $20 or less.

Unfortunately you now have to systematically disconnect the circuits if that is not the problem.

You are trying to find a grounded wire or part. Turn off the dash controls to the heater/A/C system. Note if the Ohmmeter changes.

When you find the problem circuit, the Ohmmeter will indicate something is grounded when it should not be connected. You can try making a fuse list and pull fuses until you find one which affects the Ohmmeter. That circuit should be investigated further.

If the fused circuit you eliminated goes to something like power seats or windows, or a mirror, just leave it unfused and see if your problem goes away. Restore the other fuses you removed, keep the list and homemade diagram.

There are also Relays in the fuse boxes. What people do not realize about them is they have more than one set of contacts and provide BOTH ground and power terminals. This means something can be grounded through a Relay if the points stick. Since another Relay in the series may depend on being Grounded to work, you have a situation where a second Relay in a series is still turned ON because the points in the first Relay stuck. When the first defective Relay is powered down, the second Relay remains on and is draining your Battery.

There is also another way to test the Relays and remaining devices. There are now cheaper Temperature Lasers at Harbor Freight and Sears. When you have a power drain it creates heat. You should be able to use the Temperature laser to detect if a Relay or part is turned on. This would require the truck to be parked and have a charged Battery connected. It will not work for a concealed motor like a window motor or Power seat motor.

I hope my suggestions are helpful to you.

Whirlpool gold refridgerator light not working and is making funny noise

Had the identical symptoms with my Whirlpool Gold GS6SHEXNB00 side-by-side refrigerator. Had a technician come on site, indicated it was the "circuit board/ timer" (Whirlpool part # 1394052). Board is accessible from behind fridge (lower left side in a white plastic housing to left of compressor).

Swapped the board out (noticed a scorched circuit on the old circuit board). Lightbulbs now work, temperature readouts also good to go.
