Changing rear fender on 2003 fatboy

Hi,
im trying to figure out the easiest and safest way to change my rear fender....im am replacing with a new stock one...the original was scratched...

    i am trying to change the battery in my 09 fatboy i have the fob with me but when i removed the battery to replace with new one the alarm keeps going off , how can i disarm it so can connect new battery

Here's my 2 cents... you need to remove the seat, saddlebags, disconnect battery, dsconnect the wiring harness, remove the signal lamps and the hardware securing the fender. There are torque values u need to know when installing the new one. This is all in the service manual for your model. I would go to the dealer and get one, you want all the specs correct and thats the only way to get em

Well, it's not the most difficult job on your bike but it is a good size job. You'll have to remove the rear wheel, the rear brake caliper (which means you'll have to bleed the brakes when you reassemble it), remove the rear fender with the electrics for the brake light, disconnect the shocks underneath the bike, and any saddlebags or sissy bars that might be on the bike. The swing arm is not that complicated but a lot of stuff has to come off to replace the bearings. I've attached a drawing of the swingarm.

Need to replace 2003 silverado driver side front fender and just needing advise from someone that has done that. I can do it but what do I need to expect time wise and difficulty wise. Thanks

I need to do the same thing on my 2001 silverado. Did you get your changed? If so, How did it go? Im having trouble figuring out how the fuse panel should be disconnected.

2003 HD Fatboy has a miss. New plugs and wires.

i take it its carb. after it warms up to operating temps does it stop the sputtering? thats just a HD CV carb doing what it does til hot. Im not talking a 2 min warm up and off u go im talking operating temps of 200 plus. Is the carb an S&S? Your going to have high rpms til the temp kicks it down if its injected

2002 FLSTF Fatboy needs oil change

I have a 05 Fatboy and the drain plug is hidden inside the frame rail on the right side by the swing arm it's a 5/8s plug.
