Mine broke soon after I reached 3000 Km with it. can you please provide some directions in changing it? I suppose it's simple enough to do it myself in 30 min, I would be loosing more than that going to a mechanic.
many thanks!
Alex
Assuming it's the same as my Kymco Agility, it's really easy cheapest is to buy a new one on ebay, it connects under the right handlebar to the throttle, there's a clip under the handle clip it in rescrew on the throttle handlebar and feed it through to the carb, just feed it through where the old one went and connect it to the top of the carb and that's it.
ok sorry the speedo cable screws in to the back of the speedo insert pin then tighten screw by hand then it goes down to the front tire if you look at this link you can buy the part you need the inner and outer it's like $23.00 for both but look at the bottom where it goes into the front wheel, it looks like a little threaded gear , if so make sure the place the gear sits in on your bike isn't stripped if not this should work fine for you. It's the cable that goes to the front wheel, responsible for displaying the speed and incrementing the number of total Km (ODO). Right now it's not showing the speed while I'm running it. Have any ideea about this one? (sorry if I was missleading)
Respect! Sounds like I know what I have to do :) Thank you for taking the time!
