I started to replace the battery on my Acura. I connected the +ve first without any issues. I started to connect the -ve terminal to the battery. At first everything was fine. But have way through I was shoving the terminal to the right place and horn came on as if somebody was permanently pressing down on the horn. Any ideas what could be causing this?

There are many things it could be but a few suggestions are to have the battery load checked (battery could be faulty), check for broken or corrosion wires, check fuses inside power distribution box (loose or corroded connections), and see if there might be an association with the ignition switch and your power lose. I dont think it applies to your issue but its not unheard of to have a faulty ignition switch. Good luck.

dont you have the alarm key fob? if so that will reset it. just press unlock. If you dont an dits not a OEM Acura alarm you will need to find who makes it and get a new key fob, or have a shop that does alarms to disconnect it.
