My Honda CBR 125 2005 has some idle rev problems, Have played with the idle speed screw and got that at around 1/2 and 2 thousand revs but as soon as I touch the throttle and let go the bikes idle revs keep climbing, it is not the throttle cable being stuck as I have already checked for this

Sounds like you were adjusting the idle mix screw on the carburetor. I think www.bikebandit.com has OEM parts, with diagrams. Also, there are many forums for different motorcycles and their owners on the internet, I would try a Google search for the right forum for your bike. Good Luck!

Pull the slide out of the carb then remove the jet needle and move the clip one notch lower on the needle.
SOURCE: Engine loses revs on tickover and makes a stange clicking noise.
Could be a carburation problem, or could be one of the many ignition/carb control devices faulty, a workshop manual would guide you through the separate continuity tests for the separate components. |You would need to be able to use a circuit tester! The noise you hear maybe nothing but sommit thats become more audible to you because the general noise has dropped, but sounds to me like a fault on an electrical component on the carb. Good Luck - the Yeti

It does sound like its getting to much fuel, or the lack of air. Air filter ok? If it is you might need to have a compression check done to see how the piston rings are.

Seaform will fix this trust me...go to autozone oickup a can put in 1/3 of can into approx two gallons off gas and ride at least fifteen miles hard and it will run alittle rough at first but it should kick in while you ride.
