SOURCE: changing oil on 2003 electra glide

I don't blame you for wanting to do this yourself. Be sure to use a harley filter and harley oil.

Drain the oil, replace o ring on drain plug, replace drain plug, remove oil filter, fill oil filter with 20/50 harley davidson oil and replace filter being careful not to overtighten, fill oil tank with the bike upright to the fill line on the dipstick. Take the bike for a short ride and check the fluid level while warm.

SOURCE: Where is the oil pan plug located on a 1999 Harley

No oil pan plug, it is a sump system. Just find the oil tank, drain it, change the filter.

SOURCE: How do you remove the tour pack on 2007 Electra

Disconnect all of the electrical connections including the antenna wire from under the seat going to the tour pack and then remove the four nuts under the tour pack which holds it to the mount. At this point, simply lift it off.

SOURCE: I need to know where the oil drain plug is on a

The oil pan is on the bottom of the transmission. Look under the transmission and you'll see two drain plugs. The one closest to the front left corner is the engine oil drain. The one closest to the center is the transmission drain.

Good Luck

Oil leaking into carb

All Harleys will get a little oil in the breather.

However, when mileage causes the rings to wear, combustion pressure can leak past the rings, causing higher pressure.

You didn't state your mileage, but at 11 years old, your engine might be ready for a top end rebuild.

Yes, any quality air cooled engine oil will suffice, and in a pinch/emergency any oil is better than no/ very low oil.
