I cant find the fuel shut off switch on my 2008 gsxr 600 I dont have the owners manual either

THe fuel shut off valve is also called the "petcock" it should be located on the side of the gas tank on the very bottom. I think it is on the right hand side. Look for the fuel line that goes to the fuel system and you should be able to trace it to the shut off valve. It should have 3 positions, ON / OFF / RESERVE

I had a 98 GSXR and it didn't have a fuel shut of on it. When you turn your key on do you heard a noise ? chances are that's the fuel pump presurizing. the fuel shouldn't leak out if you remove the fuel line because the fuel pump is in the tank!
