Coming from bikenight and did one wheelie for about 1/4 mile in 1st gear. no problem.. rode for about 110mph on the highway..then did a wheelie at 70mph for about maybe for a 1/8 of mile or shorter. then parked once got to the destination..waited for about 20 mins. started the bike to leave and white smoke coming out the tailpipe for a moment and then stopped. no smoke..kept checking while riding no smoke. got home.turned it off for a moment, restarted no smoke. started the next day..white smoke for a moment. till about 150 degrees or less..and goes away. waited 30mins restarted temp@135 no white smoke.also no knocking or pinging.still revs and idles the exact same way. also just changed the oil 3wks ago.suzuki oil 10w40 plus new filter. from this story whats your conclusion? thanks concerned Wheelie Boy.(1st timer with white smoke issue)
More than likely you have valve seal and or valve guide wear problems. I have owned Suzuki's for 25 years (including an 1100, 550, 750 (2) and 1000) and unless the engine is using a lot of oil just drive it and don't worry about a little start up smoke..
For motorcycles with 4-stroke engines: The white smoke from the exhaust means that the engine oil is leaking into the combustion chamber where the petrol burns. ... This eventually means that you have to get your piston changed along with the piston rings that prevent the engine oil leaking into the combustion chamber.
