This is how I replaced the rear valve cover rubber gasket seal on 1995 vt600 start by runing the bike very low on fuel a quart or so. On the set
ther's two screw on each side look closely about center of the set, there
probably 10mm bolts, Remove the set pull it backward, Remove the fuel tank 12mm bolt pulling it backwards will remove it from the rubber hanger
this will allow you to remove the fuel hose at the valve. install a cap to stop
the fuel. To remove the spark plug wires and boot on left side, two fingers
at the base of the boot and to fingers at the top of the boot note the plug
wire. ( boot body pull up easy). right side plug wire pull it up easy. At this point I removed the plate that covers the exhaust vavle 5mm allen wrech for clearence & the breather tube on top of the cover & removed the tie strab that holds the wiring to the left frame tube and pride it to the right side for clearence remove 10mm bolts lift the cover up easy have someone hold it up and slitely back, look close and pay attention remove rubber seal and go to the right side with it looking and getting it over the rocker arms and cam gear.wipe cover clean. thick greas on bottom of cover to hold the gkt in place sneak seal over cam & rockers and install on cover be sure seal is in place at the spark plug hole & breather area I used trans gel to holed the

SOURCE: How do I remove the seat on an 84 Honda Sabre motorcycle

I have an 85 Sabre and was looking for an answer to this as well. I read the daniels solution. Not sure what Mr. Daniels is smokin but was he dead wrong. First, the helmet lock has nothing at all to do with this procedure. Why he thinks that is beyond me. Also, there is no "lever on the frame" to push forward.

So, after tugging a little here and there on my seat, I stumbled on the procedure. Here it is: 1) Remove the side covers off of each side of the bike. They are only held in place by grommets at 3 locations per side. A small tug at each of the 3 positions will remove them. 2) You will now be able to see a bolt on each side of the bike that secures the seat. Remove them. 3) Now it's technique time. The seat is now only held in place by a plastic tab and a steel tab. The plastic tab is part of the seat bottom at the front of the seat. The steel tab is on the frame of the bike. That steel tab goes into a slot on the underside of the seat. So here we go. Grab the back edge of the seat and firmly pull it rearward and slightly upward at the same time. That will disengage the molded slot on the underside of the seat from the steel tab on the frame. Once the seat has been disengaged from the steel tab, you can angle the seat upward. Once the seat is angled upward about 30 degrees, pull the seat in a rearward direction to disengage the plastic tab on the underside of the seat from the frame of the bike.

Since the air cleaner on a Sabre is underneath the fuel tank, all Sabre owners who do their own maintenace have to know how to remove the seat. One of the fuel tank bolts is hidden under the seat, The other two are on the front sides of the tank.

SOURCE: how to change sparkplugs on honda shadow motorcycle

VT1100 has two spark plugs per cylinder, the sparkplug caps are snap-ons so they're fairly easy to remove. You need a spark plug socket wrench to remove and replace the spark plugs.

Go to the site below where you can see a parts diagram for your specific bike. You will select the actual brand, year, model, etc., once you go to the site. Part numbers and prices are also shown. You can order parts from this site. In the event no price is shown on a particular part and/or the notation "Not Available" is in the description, the part is not in stock. Please rate my answer. Thanks!
