Can you tell me where the fuel filter is located on my 1991 cbr 1000 honda thank you

The fuel filter on a 1991 CBR 1000F is mounted to the petcock assembly (the part that the fuel lines are connected to). If you removes the petcock assembly it is the piece sticking up like a tower but is part of the petcock assembly. You can however use a very fine children's toothbrush and carb cleaner to clear it out a bit.

3Does Honda sell a rebuild kit for a 1999 Honda CBR 900RR Petcock?

No Honda does not sell a rebuild kit. Honda only sells assemblies. The petcock is pressed together and therefore can can not be disassembled and reassembled to replace parts. The main valve from Honda runs about $175. The vacuum diaphragm assembly, if this is the only thing leaking, can be had for around $40.

2005 fireblade fuel tank leak but it dosnt appear to be from the tank it drips a lot of fuel when stopped and left ticking over

Check to see if your fuel line has a crack (under vacuum it wouldn't leak) and make sure your carburetor drain screws are tight.
Also, make sure your fuel petcock is in the ON position and not in the PRI position - because in the ON position, there has to be a vacuum from the carbs to allow fuel flow.
No suckee no gas flow!
Check the petcock itself to make sure it's not leaking.

On my 1994 fireblade which way should the fuel tap face for normal tank compared to reserve? my fuel tap is long at one end and short at the other but which end is normal for fuel?

Start with the fuel tap (called a petcock) in the horizontal position. This is pointing toward the back of the bike, and it is in the "off" position. Turning it counter-clockwise to point up is "on," and turning it clockwise to down is "reserve."

Normally, you'll want to run the bike with the petcock set to on, and save the reserve for the emergency situation when you run out of fuel.

Petcock leaking took off gas tank alot of air build up in gas tank

Repair or replace petcock then...Lol
As leaking gas becomes mixed it becomes a dangerous item as a spark will set it alight.

My 1998 cbr900rr fuel petcock is leaking and a replacement is very expensive. Is there not a way to rebuild the thing?

Sorry unless honda does a rebuild kit, your out of luck.
The leak is often in the diaphram, and will be unique for that petcock, although a number of models may use the same petcock.

Why is gas going in my oil pan

Check your fuel tap (petcock) to be on "on" position. If you set it on "pri" it will let fuel flow without vacuum from engine. Gas flows in the carbs when bike is parked and overflows from there into the engine and down into the oil pan. If putting the fuel tap on "on" does not help then check if the tap flows fuel when engine not running. It normally should not.

Fuel petcock

The petcock is what the fuel flows through when it comes out of the gas tank. It probably includes: * A switch with positions for On, Off and Reserve. * A fuel line going to the carburetors. * A vacuum hose attachment which attaches to a carburetor which tugs on a rubber diaphram to let gas flow through. * An overflow/drip valve from the vacuum area. It's located right under the tank on the rear/left side.
