Need to know how to replace seals and add new oil. How much fork oil?
Before you take it to the shop try this.Get some camera film,Cut the notched edge of it and trim the top to an angle of 45 deg..Slide this up into the fork seal and working it up and down, slide it all the way around the seal. When you get the feel of it,you can feel tiny bits of grit. This will clean the grit out 99% of the time.I always keep a piece of film in the toolbox.
This is one of the few things that I recommend you take to a shop - you need some very special tools and techniques to fix this problem. Sorry,
Kevin

my fork seals are leaking need to know how to replace them
Hi ..... Can you confirm the type of forks you have ? They changed to Kayaba units around this time.
Its a 02 piaggio zip moped not sure if forks have gone theres no leaking but dont seem to bounce back
I have a 2012 Suzuki rm85. Just got new fork seals put in and when I pull up on the handlebars, it makes a clunking noise like it is rebounding too soon. How do I fix this? We were told to compress them down and do that for a while and maybe the oil just needed to circulate. It has oil in the forks, but it's still making this noise. Any suggestions on how to fix?
