1999 GSXR 600 runs great when it is warm outside. if i ride it when it is cold outside, it will ride for about 2 miles or so and shut off. the temperature gauge drops quickly when riding in cold weather before it turns off. sometimes this causes bike to flood. any idea on what this may be ?

200° is quite warm...
If the engine wont turn over, probabily you have a bad battery, a bad starter or a bad starter relay, or bad connections.
A hot engine has more compression. If the full battery power doesn't reach the starter it won't turn over...

It could be that you have to much oil in the crank case. I overfilled mind and my son could not ride his machine behind me, due to the smoke. Otherwise drain the carb (small bolt under the float chamber. Good Luck
