SOURCE: replace rear brake pads

Remove right saddlebag, pull the two caliper mounting bolts and remove the caliper. Do not open bleeder or disconnect line. You will need to push a large screwdriver between the old pads before removing them in order to push the pucks back into the caliper or the new pads will not spread enough to reinstall. Then pull the two smaller bolts from the caliper and the pads will fall out. The pads are different for inside and outside, so pay attention, and remember, after reinstalling, before riding, be sure to pump brake pedal, and it may take a few stops before brakes stop as effectively as before.

SOURCE: adjust clutch cable

If you have a stock cable you need a 9/16 and a 1/2 in. wrench. about 1/2 way downn the cable there is a rubber boot. pull the rubber boot over the adjustment. Loosen the liock nut and adjust the cable so you have aprox 1/8 to 1/16 in. slack in the handle. Re tighten the lock nut and pull the rubber back over the adjustment.

SOURCE: 1978 Electra-Glide Starter initionally catches,

sounds like the starter is bad. if access to it easy for you then it can be removed and taken to your local repair shop and rebuilt. Or try locateing one on ebay.

SOURCE: adding a factory intercom on a Electra Glide Classic

Yes, It's pretty expensive, I would talk with someone at a dealer who really know exactly whats involved. you may be better served by using Cardo's Scalia Teamset. I'd just go for the FLHTCU personally, 4 speakers, cb, intercom, fairing lowers, better resale.

How to replace right hand throttle grip 2003 ultra

Remove the switch housing screws and spread it away. Loosen the adjuster locknuts on the throttle cables and adjust cables in, this will allow you to lift the cable off of the throttle grip. Be care full not to lose the barrels.( the small round caps on the end of the cable.) Assembly is the reverse. Make sure to check proper operation of the throttle before starting the bike.

Low idle on 2001 electra glide....never been fixed even after going into shop ....help

I think there is a throttle cable and an idle cable.Should be able to get the adjustment you need at handle bar.Check condition of cable first, cable may be broke inside sheath. You could take couple turns on adjuster but cable won't be moving if it's broke inside.

My 2000 electra glide rpms are very high over 2000 while starting up, and they dont come down to normal idle 650-750ish

check the adjustment on the throttle return cable. Try to loosen the lock nut and back the cable off at the hand controls. this would be an easy place to start
