SOURCE: Oil change directions, 2003 Road King

The drain plug is on the left side of the oil reservoir pointing towards the front of the bike. The motor should be warm when you dump the oil and the o-ring should be replaced as an extra precaution (don't want to waste that new oil if you have a drip). When replacing the oil filter use a piece of tin foil to divert the oil to your waste pan.

SOURCE: how much 5w oil goes into each fork?

Using 5w oil with stock springs, your oil level should be about 100mm from the top with the fork fully compressed, damper rod pushed all the way down, and the spring out. I hope this helps and good luck. Please vote and leave a message.

SOURCE: Yamaha xj 900 s Front fork oil amount in cm

The forks hold 286ml or 9.67 US OZ of oil, best would be to use hydraulic oil.
Good Luck.

How much pis in front forks hd flhr road king

15 psi is the Factory recommended pressure.
Try it. If it feels too spongy pump it up to 18-20. If you need more give it a bit more but never go over 25 psi!
If it feels to harsh drop the pressure to about 10 psi.

Worth checking your fork oil too. You really need clean new oil every 10,000 kilometres (6,000 miles).

How much fork oil goes into a 2001 Roadking with hydraulic suspension? We lowered the bike 1".

This is a percise amount of oil you need a service manual and a special tool to do this job correctly and safely, having different amounts in the forks can be catastrophic incase of bumps or evasive maneuvering.

Location of oil drain plug on a 1999 HD Road King Classic

The solutions are close, so I must assume they are HD Road King answers, just not a 1999 Road King. The drain plug is on the front (facing the forks) left side (clutch) of the oil pan. On the 1999 model the drain plug is a 3/4 inch bolt. After changing the oil, be sure to replace the O-ring. The O-ring is rubber and does not last more than a single oil change. HD charges a dollar for the O-ring, but better to replace it than to end up with your new oil all over the garage floor.
