My car died at a stop light. When I try to start, it cranks very well but no kicking over.

This may be a long shot, but if the vehicle was running well before stopping, and you stopped rather suddenly, the fuel pump shut off may have been engaged. It's made to stop fuel flow in the event of a minor accident, but if the switch were rather touchy, it may have triggered. Not sure where it's located on your vehicle- check manual. On many cars, it's located behind the passenger side kick panel.

Good luck.

I was riding my rmx 250 and it suddenly died! i kicked it again and started and died again. i tried to start it again and the kick shift wouldnt move. what would cause this

Suddenly stopping then starting momentarily again sounds like dirt in the gas to me. It may be in the tank or the filter or, gosh, any place between.
