I have a peugeot xp6 runnin fine but doesnt charge the battery whats wrong

Depending on where you are there are usually motorcycle breakers local to most towns. Otherwise some online specialists may be able to supply you with one

Bike has magneito (thats spelled wrong ) On line youtube veido shows how to fix that.

you have to check all your wiring for broken, bare or loose wires. you may have to get your dad or someone else to help test them if you can't find a visual problem as sometimes they will stretch and break inside the plastic coating which will only be found doing a continuity check.

hondas have a weakness in the regulator rectifier unit on quite a lot of models,if the lights are not brightening when the bike is given the throttle its most likely failed,if u have access 2 a multimeter test the battery,the battery should have around 12 volts with the ignition off and with the bike started the voltage should go up 2 around 14 or 14.5 when the bike is given the throttle,if it doesnt your reg rec unit has failed,hope this is of help.

Battery needs to be over 12v for the bike to start, with the bike running it will be about 14v
if you charge the battery and it wont hold 12v----new battery
If the bike starts and doesnt show 14v aprox---- new regulator

check fan belt tension/alternator faulty/charging should be 14.3 volts at battery at 900revs

sounds like a double earth/live wiring loom

some bikes have 2 black wires bolted to the frame 1 is earth and the other is live i know what you are thinking but it works

look for a double wire bolted to the fram proberly be under plastics by seat

if its a new amp there should be a problem. make sure you have your remote wire hooked up to your radio(its blue). make sure your fuse on your amp wire isnt blow and make sure you have a good ground. if your runnin the ground off the car make sure the paint is scratched off that area

hi m8,, to have to put a booster on it ,,means the battery isny holdin a charge,,if they are stood 4 ages they dont last long,, u must 12v or just over to turn it over,, and while its runnin at least 14,7 volts goin in to the battery,, when it runs,or if u get it goin,, put a tester on the battery terminals,+ and - ,make sure theres 12v,, start her up,, and it should read 14v..if so then the altenater is fine ,,or if the lites get brighter as your revvin it up ,the altenater works fine, if it doesnt star again wen turned off,,,then battery has had it, and wont hold its charge..

It should still be under warranty, sounds like the rechargeable battery has died, either take it back to the shop or buy a new battery.
