No electrics got chinesse import gy125 to get from a to b had nothing but problems which have been sorted quiet easy. coming home from work the lights began to dim woke up in morning to find had no electrics what so ever lights indicators electric start horn the lot. bike starts with a kick no problem battery held a charge when i charged it as soon as i put back on the bike all started to work again buy the time i got home again the battery had run out agin and all stoped working again. any ideas would be a great help. thanks.

i have had many of these bikes in the workshop with electrical mechanical ive even had to reweld frames my advice to you is sell and get a ktm or apache as these bikes never quit giving out problems and imm suprised a bike if its 2005 has lasted that long /the fix for your problem is if the battery is new charge 16 hours at 1-2ampers via trickle charge check that the bulbs are correct watts for the bike as they are not uk standard and if you dont know the age of the battery get a new one and charge as above

Hi guys, having an issue with my 09 530 exc, I just dropped the oil out of it, was starting off the battery just fine before, but after the oil change I'm getting nothing out of the electrics, no horn, lights, blinkers or electric start. It will kick start just fine though. Any suggestions what I might have done to cause this? I checked the fuse and it looked fine, swapped it out anyway. Also checked with a friends battery and still nothing.
