How to disconnect the fuel injector side of the fuel line on a harley ultra

Release fuel pressure and then disconnect the fuel fuel line from the quick disconnect. You will possibly have to raise the fuel tank a few inches. If you move the fuel tank crossover tube behind the coil you can lift the tank about another 3 inches and then move it straight rearward. You can disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail by undoing the one fastener that secures the fuel tube/line to the fuel rail by a clamp. Two T20 Torx screws hold the fuel raill to the induction module. Remove them. Pull the fuel rail away from the injectors. Disconnect the fuel injector wiring connectors. Twist and turn and pull the injectors from the intake module.

You must be talking about the fuel rail to the injectors. You would release fuel pressure from the line by disconnecting the pump fuse then running the engine until it quits and then turning engine over for a few seconds and then disconnect the quick connect fitting. Then disconnect the battery negative and replace the fuel pump fuse and then Then remove the horn and access the injectors and undo the fuel rail retaining fastener and release the fuel rial from the injectors.

For a carburetted model shut off the fuel shutoff valve and then disconnect the fuel line from the shutoff valve and then disconnect it from the carburetor.

Remove the fuel line from the tank and then get in under the left side of the fuel tank and remove the retainer bolt and disconnect the electrical connectors and pull them out.

remove seat, remove console on top of tank, disconnect wiring from console to tank, disconnect vent line if present, disconnect fuel line on tank, disconnect fuel gauge (up under tank on left side, 3 wires, 4 wire connector, wires are yellow, orange, and black), remove bolt at rear of tank, remove two side bolts up front under tank (coil bracket is there also, carefully cut clamp on cross over hose located up front under tank.
This works better with three hands remove one side of cross over hose, fuel will flow freely so the extra hands are good at "plugging" the hose and the tank. Gently remove tank tilting front of tank as much as you can till you get it clear of the frame, while still tilted at a steep angle put the cross over hose back on.
To make things easier drain all fuel out of tank before reversing the process to reinstall tank. Hope this helps.
