My tail light will not come on but lights when i hit the brakes all lights work but tail light
SOURCE: Tail lights wont work
sounds like ground problem- remove tail lights and look for wires going to body -remove screww clean grounding area and replace- both sides. You did not say whether the lights work when car is off? With car off and brake pedal pushed is there any brake lights ? If not procede with above.
SOURCE: 1993 Supra tail lights not working
there is a switch located on the brake pedal right at the bend(just behind where your foot touches)
SOURCE: Right brake light out; tail light works fine
most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

Does this machine have an aftermarket fairing? If so, the wiring that normally connects everything together within the headlight shell may not have been done very well when extended into the fairing shell. The main fuse which is usually only a short distance from the battery and connected into the '+' wire from the battery (not the heavy cable that powers the starter) if blown, kills power to all lights, engine, and etc..
SOURCE: The brake lights wont work. The brake light over
the break light wire on the lumina runs through the blinker switch or multifunction switch on the colum.. check there as well as at the tail light sockets. on the late 90s gm cars the sockets had a tendancy to rot away... use a test light at the brake light wire in the trunk and have a friend apply the break. if there is power then may have to get new tail lights. or replacement bulbs.
