Rear break light don't work, but rear window light does, also right turn doesn't work?
Check bulbs and check to make sure the wires in trunk are all connected
I would have to agree more with Dano. Because the muilty funtion switch for the turn signals has little to do with the brake lights it has a seperate fuse and the hazards are always hot and have nothing to do with brake lights at all .
Iwould try adjusting the brake switch at the pedal their is a small nut you turn on this switch to decresse the traval distance between the pedal and the stop
But it sounds more like a ground issue at one of your bulbs that could have been caused by the brake switch not makeing good enough contact.
I would check this before I ripped the dash apart
You should check the wiring diagrams before posting! Not only have you given bad information you have added confusion for the person asking the question. 
So the hazards have nothing to do with the brake lights. Huh, looks like they use the same bulb, and the same wires for the rears....
You would try adjusting the brake switch, even though the center third brake light is working AND the same wire from the switch that supplies power to the third brake light also supplies power to the.......... TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.
It sounds like a ground issue? Do you know what happens when there is a ground issue? Funky things happen. Like I step on the brakes and my windshield wipers turn on. Or I turn on the left turn signal and my horn beeps. Bad grounds don't cause things to just not work, they also cause other things to act abnormally!

If you are indeed an automotive professional please trade in your tools for a spatula at you local fast food restaurant. YES!!!! The brakes are affected by turn signal lever. I have same problem and if I gently pull back on lever, like I am trying put bright headlights on, not only does brake lights work but left turn signal does too.

Stop Lamps
Voltage is applied continuously from fuse 23 to the stop lamp switch through circuit 140. Voltage is applied from the stop lamp switch to circuit 17 when the brake pedal is pressed.
Voltage is then applied to the turn signal switch, turning ON the following lamps:
• The left and right stop lamps
• The center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL)

There's a switch on the brake pedal arm that controls the brake stop lights, but it also controls the third light. The problem could be a fuse and/or relay, or bad wiring connections.

If the brake light switch where out of adjustment or failed the third brake light (the one in the rear window that is describe bed as working) would not be working. The symptom described falls within the symptoms known when a turn signal switch failed. Since the brake light and the turn signal are on the same bulb brake power is run through the tour signal switch in order to cancel the brake light and supply a turn signal flash in the appropriate direction.
Thanks Jeremy, I know the brake pedal controls the stop lights but thought (on some cars) the third light to be on another circuit. Sense many people have said, "the third light works but the brake lights don't". That's a little confusing. I'll watch for that situation and use a different answer to include the third light.

I can almost 100% guaranty the turn signal switch is the problem. Power for the brake lights starts at the brake switch. power then splits from there and the third brake light gets power directly from the brake switch. Since the turn signal and the brake lights are on the same bulb power for the brake lights is routed through the turn signal switch. the switch depending on what position it is in will allow brake power or turn signal power to there respective left or right brake/turn bulbs.
If you hold your foot on the brake pedal and wiggle the turn signal and or play with the hazard switch the brake lights will almost always intermittently start to work. this will confirm a bad turn signal switch which is pretty common on GM vehicle with this style setup.
