Your spedometer should be hooked up via cable off the front wheel. not through wiring but use your volt meter to ensure the wire coloring didnt change in the makes of bikes

SOURCE: I have 2005 softail as

No, the TSM does not have this function in it. It controls nothing but the turn signals. Whoever wired the passing lights in used the wire for the high beam light as a power wire for the passing lights. This was probably done so that they would not overload the charging system. If you have the high beam light and the passing lights on, it's a tremendous draw on the charging system and it may have caused a fuse to blow. So, they probably wired the passing lights to operate without the high beam light. I think the wire is white for the high beam.

I assume the headlight works for this answer. Let's separate the 2 issues to see where the the problem could be. First check the fuse box( under the seat or a side cover). Did you check the bulbs on the rear lights? If they are bad, replace them & recheck those. Being that the other gauge lights work, there are a few bulbs in the gauge assembly. You need to take apart the assembly part way to replace those. Those bulbs get used alot so them burning out is a possibility. If all that is ok, Check the wiring coming from the battery area for corossion & breakage, common on bikes.

How do I fix my gauges? (Ie, gas gauge, temp gauge, speedometer, odometer)

Fuses? Blown fusible link? Most gauges work by getting 12 volts from the ignition switch when on, and getting a ground from the sender. Often the 12 volt supply wire goes to more than one so if dead, both will fail. If you have a wiring diagram, you might find which wire to cluster should be hot, and trace it backward to find the issue. Easier to check for ignition switch feed first.

Finding the wire that goes to the factory tackometer.

no, you need to buy an autometer tach adapter and tap it in to the harness on the passenger side firewall then run your tach from the tach adapter to your car. Dont mess with the cluster.
go to autometes website and it will tell you how to wire and what pin to splice in. The whole thing will take like 10min to do.

The Radio don't work and speedometer needles stater

Unfortunately my instrument panel did the same then the tach stopped working and gas needle became stuck...I had to get a new instrument cluster which set me back $700.00 including labor(Miami, FL)...NOTE...the odometer's computer is on the cluster and the odometer's reading has to be downloaded to the new instrument cluster.
