Wont start my 1993 gmc pick-up will crank but will not start, double checked timing and its ok, replaced distributor, replaced cap, replaced esc sensor, repaired all grounds, replaced spark plugs, seems to be dumping in too much fuel, does anyone know what else i could try... its a 350 engine and has a throttle body, .. it is not logging any trouble codes either.....

1993 gmc pick up 1500 fuel pump works but nouthing at the injections and no spark at the plugs

Is there a tach place on the distributor cap? If so, use a test light on that terminal, engine cranking, see if the lite pulses? A pink wire should carry voltage to coil or distributor cap. It goes got with the key on? Use a test lite and check for voltage. A couple of possibilities, check the ignition module and pickup coil in distributor. Does the distributor rotor turn when you crank it? With gm bypass ignition, it's the ignition module that controls spark during cranking rpms, not the computer.
There is an oil pressure switch in the fuel pump circuit, so once you crank it enough to bring up oil pressure and that switch closes, the fuel pump will run even w/o a rpm signal, but, for other components, the rpm signal is important.
The ignition module gets signal from pickup coil, engine cranking, then ignition module sends rpm signal to computer on purple wire with white tracer. If no signal, the computer won't ground the fuel injectors, among other issues.

Cant get no fire/replaced distributor /cap and roter replaced crank sensor and coil put wires and plugs { and still cant get fire to distributor} 1996 gmc/1500 5.7liter

if i understand u correctly u replaced the distributor and cap if so i would start with making sure my pick up coil was installed correctlyand or replace it.i also would look at the possibility of it being a powertrain control module or neutral safety switch if this vehicle is equipt with one. hope ive been helpful

If you had a bunch of cracks in your distributor cap it may have caused the pick up coil under the distributor cap to go bad and cause this problem.

1996 gmc jimmy wont start seems like advanced timing issue backfiring out throttlebody, replaced timing pick up, distribitor cap, crank sensor, ICM, when ignition conrol module replace the engine ran fine...

You said the problem happened right after the engine was replaced correct? If so bring number cylinder to top dead center on the compression stroke. Remove the distributor cap and see if the rotor is lined up with the number one spark plug wire. It's possible the distributor was installed 180 degrees out.

Every time it rains my van wont start. next day its ok. what could i do to fix? its a 1993 gmc rally g-3500 van

check the ignition coil for spark or cracking noise there might be a crack in the casing .....do the same for the distributor cap. If you cant seem to see the problem take a water bottle and spray around your engine whiles its in idle and listen to see if the engine sounds different ....but only spray one part at a time.

When this truck dies, does it have spark,or fuel pressure?Check it for no spark,if it has no spark, replace the ignition module. These gm year models are bad to go out ,and the distributor pick up coil also.Replace the module first,if this does not help, replace the pick up coil.NOW ON A FUEL RELATED PROBLEMit could be fuel pump, fuel pump relay,or the pick up coil. The pick up coil pulses the injectors, and the spark.I hope this helps,if not let me know.

I think you should check your timing again, check the firing order of the distributor and if they are with there corresponding spark plug. Did you mark the connector or label them before disassembling. Maybe u left the timing in exhaust instead of compression
