I put the key in the ignition, pulled clutch and hit start. The bike cranked once then the lights and ignition just stopped. If I turn the key all the way up the rear lights will come on. If I put the key to ignition the lights won,t come on, the horn wont work and it don't start.
SOURCE: bike ran great yesterday went to start it today
I have Had this problem ! check the fuses under rear seat 2 Mine will only start if Kick stand is up and third engine shut off switch is not all the way down
SOURCE: bike starts and stalls, then doesn't turn over.
if it won't turn over when it's standing, but will when it's not, then it's a pretty safe bet that it's an electrical short!
SOURCE: my 2007 boulevard s50 will not start all the
Check fuses first then there are a few safety switches to check. Kickstand up and bike in nuetral hold the start button and pull the clutch in slowly if it doesnt crank then check the kickstand switch
SOURCE: My bike won't start
Either, your terminals are dirty, your battery has died or your starter motor has died. Having a manual would help, just Google it and hunt around, you should be able to find a freebie. But you need to get it started and to an auto-electrician, he will diagnose your problem in seconds, and generally it is a freebie.
