It is highly unlikely the gearbox will mount in a 2003 frame without modifications. The crankcase part number for the '94 is 43860. The '03 number is 36890. Nine years is a wide span and many changes have taken place. Sorry.

I have a 2003 rm 250 and want too change the gearbox oil but am not sure what too use,I was told too use 10/40 motor oil but that does not sound right???

I'm pretty sure you want to use gear oil in the crankcase of a two-stroke,(like 80wt Bel Ray).
Standard "car weight" motor oils are 4 stroke, designed to lube the crank & cylinders. your '03 RM has the cylinders lubed by the pre-mix...
A motorcycle specific crankcase lube is the best bet; lots of differing opinions on the wet-clutch aspect.

I have white oil dripping out of my 2001 rm250.. what do i do?

hi,you arent going to like this ,but it is water from the cooling system getting into your transmission,rm bikes are famous for it,you will probably find that there is a seal on the back of the water pump (which is driven off the crank)has failed letting the water in to the gearbox, drain the gearbox, flush it before running it again, but get the faulty seal fixed first...hope this helps...cheers

My rm85 quit while we were riding and the kick starter is frozen could this be caused by a seized piston or something else.

yes mate either a seized piston or bearing are you mixng it correctly with a bottle and 2 stroke if not i recommend getting one quick also have you got gear box oil in the gearbox if not its a seized gearbox if you have both off these it will be the piston or crank strip it down and inspect the piston for wear broken rings bearing movement etc

On a rm 250g 1986 on the engine what oil goes in refill hole

You use normal engine oil in the engine(SAE 30).DO NOT use gearbox oil or clutch fluid as you will get problems with your clutch.

Please leave a fair comment if you feel I have helped you.

Thank you

Clutch rm 125

Okay, this may take a couple of comments back and forth but I can get you back on the road. First, Have you done any work on the clutch lately? If so, what and why? Did the clutch work okay after the work? Have you changed gearbox oil in the last month or so? If so, EXACTLY what oil did you put in the gearbox? i.e. "10w40 Mobil Super Blue fluid with silicone friction limiters". Just post a comment to get back to me.

Clutch problems Suzuki RM125

Do a gearbox oil change. Then do another one 50 miles later. This should flush out the dirt and grit currently in the gearbox. You may want to invest in a new clutch cable also. 10w40 motor oil.
