Not really a prob, just a poll really

I have a 08 gsxr 600 stock (as of now) and am wondering the best oil in your opinions to put in it. it has 3000 miles on it.

i have been reading up on royal purple... what do you think about this oil for a bike?

some people have said dont put synthetic oil in it .... other people say its better...

I would suggest you stick with whatever oil the Suzuki dealer recommends. The bike is under warranty and you want to be CERTAIN it stays that way. Suzuki Motors Ltd., wants the bike to be reliable. They designed the motor and whatever they put in their motor is what you should put in your motor.

In all probability, 10w40 pennzoil, Mobil, or any other major brand will prove to be within warranty specifications.

I have gsxr 600 k2 the oil is contaminated with water

thats due to water getting in the oil from the head gasket or other source, you need to drain and flush all the old oil, get the cylinders compression tested, and see whats up. A low reading on 2 adjacent cyls indicates the gasket is gone, and should be replaced. If the engine has overheated, the head may need skimmed.

It will depend on budget. we can get a total of 200hp with a turbo but you will need a 30k budget. I would start by poking around on zx-10r.net in there 250 forum

Just purchased a 08 gsxr 600 and its getting water in oil.

that bike has a cracked cylinder heaeed or even a cracked block.
Water in Oil is the key sign of an abused bike.

Top speed 2005 Suzuki GSX R 600?

It depends on weither or not you have any aftermarket stuff put on the bike. My 600 will do 182 but that is with a power commander, acceleration kit, k&n air induction kit, k&n filter, and having it dyno tuned. My buddys stock 600 will do about 166 mph
