Ignition wiring my zr7 was stolen 2 days ago the police recovered it but the top yoke is damaged when they broke the steering lock off and the ignition barrel is gone. i now have 5 wires to connect. brown white blue red and grey. when i join the brown and white the oil and nuetral lights come on.all the lights and horn work the starter turns but the engine will not fire.the red and blue wires connect together to operate the taillamp.now i'm left with the grey wire.i dont know where to connect it to.the manual tells me it goes from the ignition to the ic igniter under the seat next to the fuse box but does'nt say where it connects to at the ignition. please help

You cannot hot wire a car like you are thinking. There are too many things that are connected through the ignition switch. There are also locks on the steering column and possibly the shifter. Get a locksmith or punch out the ignition but be advised it is going to be expensive no matter which method you use. IF you punch the ignition and happen to get stopped by the police or someone sees the ignition punched out and calls the police, you may have some serious explaining to do.
Remove the top yoke/ fork clamp nut and clamp bolts, then the handle bar clamps, remove circlips from fork tops if it has any (remove fork caps if their diameter is larger the that of the fork tubes leave if thay are the same) slide the top yoke off past steering lock unclip switch wiring coupler. The ignition switch will probably be in with saftey screws or snap off saftey torque bolts, remove with saftey screw tool or drill off toqure bolts
