SOURCE: electric start dont work

You probably have a bad switch

First look to se if there are any fuses
also see if horn works

FIX for determining if starter works

to find out take jumper cables and put the red cable on the plus side of the battery and the black on the minus side of battery(ground)

Put the black lead(ground ) on the frame of the bike near starter and touch the red to the starter lead( you may have to peel back rubber boot over starter nut

when you touch the starter nut it will spark and should spin over

if it does then you need to remove the screw assembly that holds the starter button and remove and clean it out with electronic cleaner (you may have to replace it if so go to honda shop and order new one

Good luck

SOURCE: cr 125 02 wont start.makes wooosh/bang noise

you may want to check your card settings and the compression itself as the woosh and the bang noise means that the gas is burning, but not completely combusting.

hope this helps.

My honda xr125 will not electric start but will bump start straight away,i had it from new so i know its not been in accident or breakdown before, when i press starter the solonoid clicks but doesnt turn...

check the battery , even new they will discharge,, if you can jump start it, or at least try, if it works, its going to be low amps in the battery itself, if that doesn't work, your going to have to pull the starter and bench check it,, if you need help with that just reply to this feed and I'll help you with that

Bike will not start on the electric starter which cranks the engine over with lots of enthusiasm and the battery will keep this going longer than you need to figure its not going to fire. The bike starts...

this sounds like your starter motor turns but slip or does not engage the motor properly .
you may also have a bad connection which the relay may be faulty and cuts the poiwer to the HT .
I would say the electrics have to be looked at first and make sure you do have a spark while using the starter motor .
If not , you have a electric problem like a relay that does not work properly

HONDA CBR 125R WILL NOT START WITHOUT BUMP START

I had the same problem with my 636. It turned out to be just a cable problem. Try to see if all the electric cables work correctly and connected.
