The main ground comes from your main power source(the battery). The negative terminal post is where your ground attaches from the main wire harness. There are many other ground wired that come from the wiring harness. You will know which they are because they will be screwed against the frame. Good luck!

your best try is to contact your dealer, and get them to order you the short red wire that runs from the + terminal on the battery, to the starter soleniod ( also has a thin red wire that runs to fuse holder) i had exactly the same problem and this solved it. i have however re done all the electrical connections on my bike using 7amp wire and bullet connectors, as i have had many faults with the electrics before.
My bike is a Kymco Cruiser 125 (almost exactly the same bike, i use kymco zing parts when replacing) i paid approx £16 GBP for the wire.

could be one of a few things. Most likely fuel related. 1) carb blocked main jet (whip it out n clean it) 2) air filter clogged up or split (remove spark plug and if it is black there is too much fuel and either the airfilter is blocked up or the choke is stuck on, if it is very white there is too much air getting infrom either a split air filter or leaking inlet pipe) 3) change spark plug.

Same with mine nothing works have you found a solution yet ?
Check with a multi tester for voltage coming through the ignition switch lead wires + to switch wire - to ground you shoul get 12volt or higher, with the switch off you should have one live (feed from battery ), on you should have 2 or 3 in and out feed (possibly 2 out one for ignition one for light curuit), or disconnect the switch and check for continuity (12v battery wire and a bulb if you dont have a multi tester between each pin on the switch plug when turned on you should get a curcuit when on.
