Remember that Apple changed the cable that them devices uses. Since iPhone 5, the apple devices uses the lightning cord. As you say, the hype power stick 2200Mph cord is the old cable of 30-pin. You'll need an adapter or maybe another cord.
It is possible some cheaper cinnamons are flavored sawdust. But after-all real cinnamon is the ground bark of a bush/tree. If you can't taste the difference what's the difference? I know the cinnamon Costco sells is cinnamon bark. If it really matters to you buy the bark / sticks and grind it yourself
Purchase an 8GB (or larger) USB memory-stick.
On a different computer, copy the entire contents of the DVD onto the memory-stick. Connect the memory-stick to the Apple computer, and install from that media.
If it won't turn on. Meaning it doesn't turn on turn on. The phone is dead and gone. If the phone turns on but sticks at the apple logo, that means it needs a restore/update. If the phone turns on and stick at the usb/apple logos. That means it needs to be restored.
To restore or update. You need to use itunes. If the phone is bricked and dead, dead... Then you need to get a new phone
Cellphane, wax paper and any other wrapping will stick to candy apples, especially if you are in a humid climate. The only solution I have found is to coat the paper with a light spray of PAM or some other canola oil spray. The other option is to rap the apples in such a way (with excess cellophane so that the wrapping is larger than apple and doesnt make contact. Good Luck
It really depends on the age and make of the usb memory stick. As you are on a new mac it is more than likely usb 2.
Most sticks are formatted for PC usage. Macs can read PC formatted stick but PC cannot read mac. That could slow the mounting time down.
The only thing I can suggest is, if you do not need the stick to transfer data to a PC try reformatting it with the apple disk utility. If that does not sort your problem out it is more than likely a faulty stick. They are quite cheap thees days so you could simply replace it.
