The frame could be out of line, it all depends on when you say dropped, as in fell over or crashed, but even falling over could damage the frame, depending if it fell awkwardly. i dropped my ninja 600 but it only broke the turn signal lens. so it's difficult to say and see. make sure you ride it before you buy and see if you are happy with how it rides

Just bought a 2008 yamaha r1 and want pictures to show best way to lower it 1.5 inches

I'm 5'2", lowered the bike 1.5" all around, and added a 70 series tire to the front. I was worried the bike wasn't going to handle very well and I am a pretty new rider so I had a friend ride it (he's been riding for 10+ years) and he said it feel pretty good.

With this setting I can get my toes on the ground on both sides, enough to keep the bike balanced on just about any road. If you want to lower the bike I would HIGHLY recommend trying a smaller seat or at least combine it with a smaller drop (since you are an inch shorter maybe a seat and the 1.5" drop will work...all depends on how long your legs are).

Here is the rear link I used: 1?mpt=1048020842&adtype=1&size=1x1&type=3&campid=5336105921&toolid=10001 LINK

And the front I just lowered the triple tree down the forks. Don't forget that if you do lower it you'll need to either modify the kickstand or buy an adjustable one.

Picture has vertical lines (no picture)....what's wrong? It is less than 2 years old. can you help plrease?

Hi Matt, I know it's been awhile, but I'm making one last ditch effort to fully confirm everything you said. To start with, I replaced the T-Con Board, and it didn't correct the problem. My T-Con Board IS ATTACHED as shown in the picture, with the two ribbon connectors. Since it is connected, are you saying DON'T buy a main board, or are you saying since the T-Con is connected to BUY one? Thanks so much for all your help Matt, I wouldn't have been able to get this far without a good guy such as yourself. If I can't repair, I'm going to part out the boards anyway, if the front panel is bad. Please refer to the picture for clarification. Is it option 1, or 2?

1. T-Con Board attached, DO NOT buy main board.
2. T-Con Board attached, DO buy a main board.

Again, thanks so much for everything, I look forward to your final answer. Take care.

2007 buel lightning 12Ss How do I unclog the fuel injectors I have replace the fuel It could be the fuel filter. I been over sea's for three year.

Drop the fuel pump out of the bike and drain it. You might have to buy new injectors and a fuel pump. The fuel pump has a trap door to get to it - Google and download the buell factory service manual for your bike.

Hi there, i was wondering how good the quality is when it comes down to the important factors of the Titan Fusion 26" Men's Dual-Suspension All-Terrain Bicycle, i am unsure if its worth getting, I want a...

If you want to buy a NEW dual-suspension mountain bike that is worth buying, be prepared to spend at least $700 dollars. A GOOD dual-sus bike will run upwards of $1500 and a very nice one will be over $2000. Anything new for under $500 is generally rubbish and money down the drain. The components will be bad, the manufacturing will be bad, the frame will be bad and it will no doubt be problematic if ridden more than occasionally on the street only. i might suggest looking at bike forums or craigslist for a used bike made by one of the reputable manufacturers like Giant, Trek, Specialized, Cannondale or the like. Bargain bikes are not a bargain at all, but money down the drain.

i hope this helps,
matthew
