1994 Honda CBR600 F2. It turns over, all lights on, getting spark, got gas, but severe backfires, I tried everything.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to CBR600 category.

all about backfires. A clue is if it backfires through the carbs or out the exhaust? Timing or weak mixture?

Temp and gas gauge doesn't work 1994 gmc jimmy

check the fuse block for a blown fuse, the one that controls dash gauges should be identified in the owner's manual.

My 1994 chevrolet 2500 6.5 diesel water temp does not work changed temp sensor and thermostat not overheating ?

When you uplug the wire from the temp sending unit, the RPM should increase from about 750 to 1000. This cold condition causes the computer to react this way. If this is happening, it is a good indication that the wiring is OK, then I would start with the gauge and the wire connection on the gauge. Trace the wiring back from there to the sending unit and look for damage or a loose/unplugged connector.

I have a 1994 325i conv. the temp gauge cycles between normal operating temp and overheating as i'm driving.a few minutes in each range.could it be the radiator.blocked passages? is this common to older...

my 528i does, or did the same thing. Overheating is bad for those aluminum cylinder heads. 1st, replace the coolant. Then check to see if the electric cooling fans work, or cycle on, they most certainly would have to cycle on when the temp gauge is in the red zone.
1st thing most people do is replace the thermostat. However, if the temp goes from overheating to not overheating in less than a minute, the thermostat is working. The key thing to look for is why did it get to the red zone in the first place.

On my 1994 nissan maxima the temp gauge is not working

hi i am serbscot,to repair ur temp gauge i would check ur temp sender,if u look on the opposite side of the battery close to firewall about roughly 200-300mm away, maybe give it a really good clean.then test car if it still does not work u have to buy an instrument cluster from a *** wrecker and do a swap, its pretty easy, just when u take the stuffed one out make sure u put it in same way.i did mine in one hour or so,i would reccomend filling car with fuel, then adjust needle to full mark. its accurate enough so that u wont run out of fuel.! cheers and good luck!
