I bought the 3.0 deep fryer last year or the year before. I have used it once and I went to use it today and it doesn't heat

A failed element is the most likely cause, but pretty bad if used once. Check the fuse in the plug, check the power cord. Check around the back for an overheat reset button.

It is a miniature of a commercial countertop fryer.

There are no Spares are available for it.

G E fryer. Quit heating up or lighting up. See the word restart on the back next to a hole. How do I reset this?

Use a tooth pick or paper clip (whichever works size wise) and push the little button inside the reset hole.

I have a Butterball indoor turkey fryer that lost power and the red light went off, is there a reset button on the fryer

There is a thermal cutoff near the heating element just like all appliances that make heat. It's supposed to stop a house fire but makes these appliance companies a lot of money.

I have a Butterball Electric Turkey Fryer that heated up but when I placed the turkey in the fryer the red indicator went off and it lost power , is there a reset button on the fryer

All appliances that produce heat have a thermal cutoff inside to prevent a fire or meltdown. It's a shame they make them so fragile that it may ruin your special occasion. If you cross the wires on the sensor it may run forever but might be a fire hazzard.

Fryer quits heating have to hit reset switch

This button should be a high limit switch. If it is a small red button mounted to a 2" x 2" or so device. You most likley have an issue with the thermostat letting it over heat. The best thing to do would be to replace both the thermostat and the high limit for safety reasons.

Won't come on.

Hi - If you have your manual, check out page 16 for troubleshooting. Make sure the magnetic cord is properly fastened, and the removable control panel with the heating element is properly attached to the outer housing, because it has a safety microswitch which will not allow the control panel to work unless it is properly seated into both grooves in the housing.
