Is difficult to diagnose these problems as it could be any of these;
Electrical; 90% of problems are electrical, in this case the spark could be breaking down under load and especially if the spark plug is old it may pay to try this first, Don't think there are any computers onboard the Savage but there may be an ignition system fault but this will be your last resort.
Fuel supply; cleaner additives are rarely effective and if there is contamination it will require the tank and fuel system cleaned, removing the carby fuel bowl for inspection for contaminants is the first step here.
Air Supply; Before doing anything else check for obstructions in the air intake, usually under the seat, this is especially important if you have fitted any seat cover, the webbing holding these on can be sucked into the air intake when applying throttle

SOURCE: klx 110 2006 stalls when choke is pushed in

i'd say the carb is gummed up especially the pilot jet (#16158) in this pic of the USA carb. may have to remove the carb & bowl and then remove the pilot jet (w/ flat head screw driver) and clean out the tiny holes.

-OR-

the carb slide is installed backwards (turned 180 degrees). its #16025 in the pic. i've done this before on my daughter's XR70 and Z50. you'll know if its this when you move the choke lever, RPMs increase and decrease.

hope this worked for you and was fast enough.

SOURCE: 1991 CR 500 (reving to high on idle high serges)

take some wd 40 & spray around the carb boot while running to see if the idle drops for a few seconds. sounds like you have an intake side air leak causing a lean condition making the motor rev high.

SOURCE: the bike star and idle but stall went I gave gas

ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher at hand when working on carburetors.
Drain the carburetors. There should be a screw on the lower side of each carb float bowl. Remove the screw then replace it after the fuel drains. Remove the water trap bowl at the bottom of the petcock, (gas valve). Is there any water or trash in the bowl? Drain a cup of gas from the tank. Is there any water or trash in the cup? Dump it, clean it and re-mount it, (not all bikes have a water trap bowl). Turn the gas back on and wait a minute for the carbs to fill with gas. If the bike doesn't start and run properly then shut off the gas and remove the carburetors from the engine.

FOR EACH
carb > Remove the float bowl and clean the entire carb with a spray carb cleaner from the auto parts store. Wear protective goggles to avoid getting spray in your eyes. Spray into all the little airways and fittings in the carb. Remove the idle screw and the air screw on the outside throat of the carb and spray into the screw holes as well.
< < READ CLOSELY > >
Be sure to put these two screws back in the same hole they came out of. IMPORTANT > do not tighten these two adjusters down. Only screw these in until they LIGHTLY seat. Now turn each adjuster one and one half turns outward. Before putting the slides back in the throat of the carbs, Move the clip on the jet needle one notch lower. Put the rest of the
carb back together and install the carbs. Sync the carbs such that the slides on both carbs move at the same exact instant when the throttle is slowly turned from idle speed. This process should get you back on the road.

Take the carbs back off and clean the jet completely,This is a carb issue and that is what you should focus on.

Car stalls when put in 'drive'

Check your air horn (big rubber boot) to the throttle body. It may have a crack on the underside and when you put it in drive and the engine torques to that side the crack opens and causes it to die.

could be the fuel pump ...you will need to do a fuel pressure test on it ..the pressure should be 63 anything lower even so much as a few lbs will cause this to happen ...as well if it sat that long i would consider a complete tune up and check all vacuum lines for dry-rot

2005 Rmz250 wont start when hot.

YOUR BIKE HAS A POWER VALVE (DIAPHRAM FUEL PUMP) THAT GIVES A SHOT OF GAS EACH TIME THE THROTTLE IS TWISTED. WHEN THE BIKE IS HOT, IT FLOODS EASILY. DON'T HIT THE THROTTLE WHEN STARTING THE BIKE WHEN THE ENGINE IS HOT.

FI LIGHT COMES ON AND LOSES POWER THEN IT SHUTS OFF THEN FINE

It could need the ECU software updated, some manufactures are still screwing up they're fuel injection, the dealership should do free of charge. Failing that it could be something as simple as dirt in the injectors which should work itself free in time. Cant see it being something major on such a new bike, as I said contact your dealership to see if there's an update.

Engine stalls after running for 25 miles?

Sounds like a fuel or intake problem to me, start the bike and spray brake cleaner onto the intake where it goes into the head, if the bike stumbles then you have an intake leak and have to change the seals or just tighten up the intake manifold. Another thing you could do is remove the carb (if it is carburated) remove the float bowl and clean everything including the jets, you could have some **** in there that is plugging things up. Also try removing the air cleaner and spraying a can of carb cleaner into and around the carb. Also try removing the gas tank and completely cleaning it and the petcock screen out, you could have something in the gas tank that is migrating to the petcock and causing a blockage.
